It wasn't that Jake didn't like Christmas, it was just that he preferred all Christmas-y things to at least wait until December 1st to start appearing. Which, ahaha, not so much, what with Christmas stuff being carted out as soon as Halloween was over, these days.

On the other hand, it meant a shipment of peppermint-flavoured vodka had arrived for the bar, and, well, Jake could hardly let that go without giving it a taste-test, now, could he?
