Sparkle had slogged his way in to work in the rain, today, thankful that his boots went high enough up his leg to keep the slush off of his feet. He hadn't actually invested in proper winter clothing yet. He figured there wasn't much of a point, so long as Fandom didn't have something that he considered a proper winter. But it did get him to thinking about how many of the people at the picnic yesterday seemed a little oddly dressed for the occasion, and it got him putting out a sign in order to maybe attract some new customers.

Kitty had missed her last two normal shifts due to the holidays/not being in town, and this Tuesday was Clint's birthday, so she just decided it was better to come in today before Tino started complaining.

The Perk, Sunday Late Afternoon Into Evening

Sam had woken up this morning with the sudden desire to play her new strategy game in the park, but the cold had thwarted her rather quickly.

However, the Perk made a decent substitute, and it offered coffee. Sam sucked down a caramel macchiatto as she sized up the board, slowly and precisely sizing up her options one move at a time.

This game was tricky. Sam adored it.
