Except that it was easy to blame such abnormal situations on the island and be correct for doing so. Which meant that, when she spotted, and then kept spotting, a vaguely familiar looking white kitten chasing after dust bunnies, on and off throughout the day, Rosalind simply sighed, and tried to keep an eye on it.
It was more difficult than it should have been, since the kitten wasn't always there.
The shop was open and there was a sign outside that said:
Now hiring! Apply inside!
