Eleanor was starting to feel more comfortable at the store. Today, she scooped up various CDs entirely at random right at the start of her shift, and gave each one a fair chance -- well, she gave at least the first half of the first song a fair chance. After that, there was entirely too much music here to waste any more time on something she already knew she didn't like.

She had easily gone through a dozen false starts before she found one that struck her; this one, she played all the way through. There was one song in particular in the middle that made her hips want to sway entirely by themselves.

Caritas, Wednesday

When Jake finally managed to make his way down to Caritas, it was to find a crate stamped "OCME" waiting at the service entrance. With a shrug, he brought it inside. He didn't recognize the brand, but they were always getting new liquors for the bar's stock, so.

He definitely wasn't expecting the toy airplanes that came whizzing out of the box once he pried the lid open, though.

So, the thing that happens when you shave for a long time and then stop? That was happening to Derek right now. Because his chest was the itchiest goddamn thing ever.

"What?" he demanded of a deeply unimpressed Tiny. All while still scratching.

Tiny just shook his head and went back to the door. Gnome loving bastard.

Luke's, Wednesday

There was a girl sitting at the counter, looking pissed off in sweatpants, sweatshirt, and weirdly, Armani.

"My outfit today? I lost a bet. I'd like to avoid everyone at school for a while."

"And I can see why," Kenzi said to her, then meeped when the girl disappeared.

"Mexi-mochas for everyone," Kenzi decided. "It's that kind of day."

Luke's was open.
