Conversational Lithuanian, Tuesday evening
Tuesday, February 4th, 2014 12:03 am"Today," Hannibal said, "I wanted to introduce a few basic verbs that you may find useful." He wrote them on the board:
Būti - to be
Galeti - can (helping verb)
Gaminti - to cook
Daryti - to do
Tureti - to have
He went over the conjugation of each, then continued, "So, I think you've all at least learned enough to begin trying to converse. You will want to know one more very important phrase, however: kaip tu sakai. That means 'how do you say'."
He smiled a bit mischievously. "So. Talk to me and amongst yourselves. Lietuvių. In Lithuanian."
