Perhaps surprising nobody who actually knew him, Nikolai was back to work at the Arms today with a host of bumps and bruises and dark circles under his eyes. At least the dark circles were helpfully obscured by the mirrored shades, but it would be slightly more difficult to ignore the split lip or the way he was taking it easy on his left leg whenever he got up to walk somewhere.

And yes, he would absolutely chalk that up to an exciting Friday night spent in Baltimore. Not that he'd elaborate from there, of course.

The Perk, Saturday afternoon

After last weekend, Flash figured he still had a few amends to make. And that's why he stopped into the Perk to order a tea. WHATEVER TEA THEY HAD, IT WAS OKAY, REALLY. Between reassuring the barista that whatever they had was fine, he also left a very large tip and took his drink outside.

It was a nice day anyway. Being outside where the barista wouldn't be eying him was a great idea.
