The Magic Box, Wednesday

When she came in to the Magic Box today for her shift, Elsa let out a little squeak of delight. She hadn't meant to, but what else was there to do when you came in to find tiny papier-mâché bats hanging from the ceiling? It was almost enough to make a girl clap her hands in glee. Almost.

But then she would have dropped the pair of orange and black candy dishes she'd brought in with her. They had little flower motifs painted on the side, because where was she supposed to find actual Hallow'een candy dishes at this time of year? But she suspected people would be less inclined to care once they were full of candy and sitting on the counter for customers (or staff members, if they were feeling a little peckish) to help themselves.

Skittles, by the way, because they were less inclined to melt or go stale than many of the other candies at T&C, and they came in those extra large bags, for easy refilling.

Come in to the Magic Box, buy your magic supplies, and taste the rainbow, all.

Freedom Arms- Wednesday

Aeryn had decided that she was going to try figuring out coffee this morning. She'd gotten a small black one, then followed what she saw others doing by putting cream and sugar in it.

And now that she'd gotten to work and tried it, whatever she'd done had made this taste horrible. She was still trying to suffer through it, though, because she was tough enough to beat this thing.

The Devil's Nest, Wednesday Night

There was a crab on the bar when Derek got in today. It looked just about as surly to be there as Derek did, so they sort of matched.

At least, that's what Tiny thought.

But Tiny was a jerk. Which meant Derek glared at him before carefully trying to nudge the crab away with a cocktail straw.
