Anders stayed late at the shop tonight because it was raining and he couldn't face the walk back to the dorm. Besides, he had a project: At least half of the tiny pumpkins dotting the shop needed to have cartoon faces drawn on them, or what was the point of anything?

He sketched hair on another squash and wished for customers.
