After his successful trip to Wonderland yesterday, Hatter was wearing some of his newly retrieved duds to work this morning. They didn't look much different than his old clothes but he knew the difference. When he sat down in his chair after getting the staff to work, he felt comfortable and content. He reached for the morning's paper and started reading.

The mailman had been asleep on the job again. Or at least, that was the only way Jack could make sense of the dozens of boxes of Mooby Land paraphernalia that were piled behind the bar when he got into work that day.

The worst part was that Tiny wouldn't wear a Mooby Kidz t-shirt with matching hat, no matter how much Jack flattered or begged.

"You're no fun at all," Jack informed the other bartender, and tried to figure out what kind of cocktail one might be able to make with "dehydrated chick-n-nugget powder." All his initial concepts were -- he forgave himself the pun -- truly foul.

There was a large fluffy eared cat in the kitchen today, which the cook and the dishwasher both insisted was actually the busboy.

The main thing that irritated Eliot about this -- other than the fact that there was a large, fluffy eared cat in his kitchen -- was that he absolutely could not decide if he was being messed with or not.
