Fandom Post Office, February 24 (Tuesday)
Tuesday, February 24th, 2015 08:15 amIt was strange how much emptier the island always felt whenever the school kids were away on a trip, Éponine thought; strange mostly because aside from making deliveries and her regular trips to the library she didn't spend enough time around the students that their absence ought to be that noticeable. And yet, somehow, it just was.
Granted, that did nothing to reduce the amount of work she had to do, since there were always supplies to restock in the lobby and the occasional inexplicable bulk mail shipment to sort and get delivered. The latter was the case today, with three pallets of jumbo-sized Rubik's cubes all stamped and addressed, only upon closer inspection they weren't Rubik's cubes at all, just foam stress balls. Or . . . stress cubes. Éponine had no idea what someone was trying to promote with them, but they were amusing enough.
"Suppose one could at least throw them at people," she mused idly, tossing one of the cubes from hand to hand.
[OOC: OCD-free today but open, and if you want to mod getting a Rubik's cube shaped stress ball in the mail for no apparent reason, go for it.]
