Anyone coming into the store today would find a bunch of packages with yoga pants sitting on the counter and Dipper on the phone with the supplier.

"No. No. We need RPG dice. Not RPG dice on yoga pants," he kept repeating. "No! I don't think it can be used for a savings throw! It's yoga pants!"

It was going to be a long day.

Sometimes, it was nice to take a break to just go outside and think. Anders had found over his time on the island that the beach could be one of the best places for that; it was seldom crowded unless the weather was unusually hot, and there was enough to do there to keep his hands busy even as his mind was occupied.

He'd hoped it might be warm enough to swim -- or at least to wade -- but venturing into the water as far as his knees convinced him that was a bad idea. The land might be warm, but the ocean hadn't got the memo yet; he might as well have been wading in ice. He sat in the sand instead, idly searching for seashells while he watched the motion of the water and considered the summer ahead.

Lottie took her time selecting the music she wanted to play at the store while she worked today. It seemed silly to work in a music store and only listen to music she already knew, so she delved deep into the stacks before finally coming up with something that looked promising.

The Dø were not quite what she expected. They had some great percussion and she rather liked the anxious tempo, which was very good for flinging herself around maniacally when there were customers to disturb, but it wasn't nearly as metal as she'd anticipated.

It had that Scandinavian slashed O! She could be forgiven, she thought, for her assumptions.

It didn't seem right to be cooped up inside any building this week; it might have been somewhat overcast, but the temperatures were grand, and sitting around a cooled post office wasn't Edward's idea of a good time. So he spent the morning making mail runs, as he'd been told he was allowed to do them.

Sadly, that meant that by noon he was out of mail to deliver, and he was back inside, sorting items as they came in.

If the office itself had introduced any shenanigans, he hardly noticed. He was too busy eyeing the door with some small amount of woefulness.
