Kitty was not having a great time of things right now. She'd stayed in New York long enough to see off the now-former students who'd been depowered, had to try to Be There for everyone when she had no idea how to do that, and then there was the worst-timed Father's Day ever. It was at that point that she graduated from depression to the anger part of the cycle.

While she was fine to talk to anyone who came looking for her, she really didn't have it in her to be social enough to be behind the bar, so she'd left that to Tino and went into the back room ostensibly to get paperwork done. In reality, she was ignoring it to throw darts all night while the zombies on the stage worked on their new project, "Music for Yurts."
