"We weren't really into it!" Lottie told the stereo. "Seriously, we had, like, fourteen bazillion wars going on, mostly with France, and nobody really cared about the colonies except George! Who we hated, too! He was well bonkers!"

Lottie didn't really know that much about the American war for independence or her own country in the late 18th century, but she knew George III was crazy and she was well tired of the stereo constantly playing hiphop history at her.

"Ev’ryone give it up for America’s favorite fighting Frenchman!"

"You're singing about a war! You could be so much more metal!"

This had been going on for a month now. This stereo system was non-stop.

Halloween and Space Battles. Two of Hardison's very favorite things. And two things that went incredibly well together, funnily enough! So Hardison was making plans. Epic plans. Plans that involved costumes for a warrior space monk, a rebellious princess, and a roguish smuggler. It was going to be expensive, since Halloween was only nine days away, but with his connections and the sheer amount of money he was willing to spend on said costumes, he could make it work.

"Hell yeah I can get you opening night tickets still," he said, negotiating over the phone. "Any city you want. 3D? Yeah, they're sold out if you're an amateur. Which I ain't...Nah, nah, I don't need the slave bikini outfit, it's...well, a'ight, I mean, like, if you wanna include it, I ain't gonna argue...Did you really just ask me if I wanted to to include a laser-sword? Are you kiddin' me? Hell naw! I'mma build my own!...Yeah, an' my blasters, too..."

The staff were just giving him strange looks, as per usual. Though, slightly less insulting than usual, because they were all hoping he could score them tickets to opening night, too.
