The entire shop reeked of pumpkin spice today. After a while, Alana tracked the smell to some errant scratch-and-sniff cookbooks that she sequestered in a FREE box outside the store, but that did it: She was officially Over Fall.

She opened the windows and tried to pretend the chill didn't bother her.
