soniaroadsqueenRingo wasn't entirely sure whether it was a conscious plan that took her daily AT run across the Kwik Stop roof. It was Tuesday, after all. Not that there was anything particular about Tuesday, of course. It was just another day. Even if she did tend to run into certain people on certain days around Fandom.
She didn't really need a rest, of course. It wasn't like there were that many chances to really push herself on the island. But she still came to an easy stop as she landed on the roof, turning in a slow circle. There was a cat stretched out in a patch of sunlight that turned its head to give Ringo a look when she arrived. She didn't land especially close to it, but it still didn't look especially pleased by the interruption. There were a few seconds of mutual staring, but when it became apparent that Ringo hadn't brought anything to eat, there was a soft hiss and the cat turned away, apparently determined to ignore the intruder.
Something about that dismissive sound brought a little smile to Ringo's face. "I hear you, I hear you," she murmured, walking over to the edge of the roof and sitting down with her legs dangling over the edge. She made sure to give the cat plenty of space. There was enough roof for the two of them to share, after all.
It probably wouldn't be long before Ringo got up and gave the whole roof back to the cat. She wasn't very good at sitting still. But for a little bit, it was oddly relaxing to be thoroughly ignored.
