Being ponyfied had been enough of a distraction that Alana hadn't given her Santa hat too much thought before she got to work, but now that class was over she was getting really annoyed by it. An ugly hat she didn't choose for a holiday she didn't celebrate was bad enough just on principle -- but the fake fur on this thing itched.

She pushed it as far back on her head as she could manage and tried to focus on unpacking a box of books. The fact it was sappy Christmas romances really didn't help her mood.

Mystery Sign Theater 3000, Wednesday Afternoon

It was December now, which meant that it was officially time to get into the Christmas spirit! And Kathy could think of no better way to do that than by introducing people to some of the Christmas classics--on the big screen no less! Today, the theater was showing Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Santa hat firmly on her head, Kathy was prepared to unironically enjoy 55 minutes of cheesy Claymation goodness.

"You're gonna love this," she enthused to Anders, in line for popcorn. "It's one of the best Christmas specials around! It'll explain pretty much everything you need to know about Christmas."

Except for how it wouldn't really at all. But that was okay. That's why Kathy was here!
