Fandom Post Office, January 5 (Tuesday)

The post office wasn't the beneficiary of any mystery cookies today, but there were butterflies flitting out of the mailboxes again. Just a few, not swarms of them, so Éponine could only guess they were stragglers of some sort.
"It's the wrong time of year for you," she told one of them when it alighted on the postal scale. "At least, I think it is."
Though she was peering at the scale out of curiosity, to see if it registered any weight -- which it didn't as far as she could tell. Well, that was a little disappointing.
And since it was a new semester, there was a sign up in the window, written in her very deliberate but somewhat awkward hand:
