If Kitty looked annoyed, it was because every time someone came in, they tracked in crushed popcorn pieces with their shoes. She'd tried to clean it up a few times, and then someone would come or go and rather than just letting the place be a mess, she was being proactive.

It was the weirdest thing. Not the popcorn rain. That was A weird thing, certainly, but as Fandom weather went, it wasn't the weirdEST thing. No, the weirdEST thing was the fact that all around Stark's, the popcorn was unpopped. Kernels by the door, on the roof, an inexplicable number in the bathroom, even.

Jessica decided to solve this the only way a super science repair shop could. "Jarvis, do we have specs for a heat ray ready?"

By lunch, she was popping the kernels until they were light and fluffy and popping their way into the street.
