Caritas- Tuesday

Kitty had had a great week on the other side of the world with Clint, which meant she'd missed any trauma of the weekend, and the trauma of her other week was... still there, but easier to deal with.

It also meant that she was in the wrong time zone and felt just slightly jet lagged, so if people could keep their orders simple today it would be appreciated.

Fandom Post Office, May 31

Éponine couldn't remember the weekend, and might have chalked that up to being too drunk to remember it, but talking to several customers this morning -- as well as her lack of a particularly awful hangover -- gave her a clearer idea as to why. It wasn't as if the prospect of her not existing in 20 years was unsettling; she still had a hard time wrapping her head around the idea that she'd actually already survived longer than she'd ever reasonably expected to.

So really, why spend her time thinking about it when she could just watch her cat pouncing on dust motes as they caught the sunlight through the window (which still had a NOW HIRING sign in it) instead?

Stark Industries, Tuesday

Jessica hadn't existed over the weekend thanks to a player road trip, but big deal. She'd seen the effective end of a multiverse and that got better. Meanwhile, Fandom could never seem to pick a consistent future for her and there were probably more futures than not whete she was dead in 20 years.

Of course, death was the question right now, wasn't it? JARVIS was still working through simulations of various machines they designed to find out if they even could separate the OZ formula from her blood samples. She still had to clear the additional hurdle of figuring out how to test whether or not it may make a subject effectively immortal without subjecting a creature to it, killing it, and seeing if it got better. Obviously, that would be monstrous. She wasn't going to try something like that.

And that's what she was brainstorming at her desk today. Good times.
