Around Fandom, Friday Morning

Even though it was abundantly clear in a very short period of time that Concordia was not a good neighborly fit for the island, it wasn't until Friday came around that the island jumped again, crashing down in the ocean off the coast of a large forest.

Everything in Eternia looked peaceful and quaint to start. Maybe this would be a quieter, more friendly destination than the last week? At least there were no immediate signs of Australians.

Groovy Tunes, Friday

So Dante had a job. He couldn't say he was excited about it so far, seeing as how he'd had to get up at like, 8:30. What kind of time was 8:30? What even happened at 8:30?

... not much, apparently. He'd spiked up his newly half-red hair into a semblance of an actual 'hawk, then headed down into town. He barely blinked at the sight of their new locale: in fact, more blinking was allotted to staring at the sign above the store. "Can't believe I'm working somewhere called Groovy Tunes," he muttered.

Maybe that was a problem he'd solve some time.

For now, he was heading in, snagging the first aggrotech album he could find out of the racks, and shoved it into the sound system. He was giving it like half an hour until he got bored of this shit, but until then, he might as well have something to tap his foot to while he poked around the store some more.

Stark Industries, Friday

Another week, another day in the workshop. Peridot had learned better by now than to just go poking around whatever new planet they had landed on this time, at least so long as she didn't have an escort, but that meant that she had her work cut out for her in other regards. She'd offered to help make Tony's armor more efficient, or at least to draw up plans so that he could, but taking her plans and making them usable by Tony meant that today was going to be spent making herself a little bit more familiar with Earth's technological interfaces so that she could figure out cross-world parallels and how she might imitate Homeworld's various tech using Earth materials the devices.

And that was why she was thoroughly dissecting anything that was being brought in for repairs today before putting it back together again, taking a good poke around, and then trying to repair them using concepts that she was more familiar with from Homeworld.

If it meant that one customer was slightly bemused by the fact that his cracked phone screen had been replaced with a hard-light projector, well, so be it. It was probably all the better for playing Candy Crush, anyway.
