The kitchen staff at Luke's was feeling extra... musical, today. And Kanan was left kind of side-eyeing them as the day went on.

"R-E-S-P-E-C-T!" The busboy cried out into the diner.

"JUST WANNA HAVE FUN," the cook answered, not one to be outdone.

Kanan just covered his ears with a sigh and sat himself down. He had no idea what was going on, it seemed like everybody was sober, even, and he was beginning to learn that on Sundays, it was better to just not ask.

Grilled Chicken with Fresh Grape Glaze
Radish and Arugula Crostini with Brie
Key Lime Pie

If anybody needed Kanan, he had procured a set of earplugs from... somewhere... and was occupying himself with a slice of the pie.

A third slice of the pie.

It was damn good pie.

Magic Box, Sunday, 7/03

Anders wasn't sure he needed to go to work today. He was still shaky on which day of the week it was, for one thing; for another, work seemed -- well, it seemed mundane after the rigors of the last two months.

So he'd gone on a walk that morning, and when his feet happened to take him to the shop, who was he to argue? He was just going to tidy as much as he could while staying away from the supplies and books that reminded him too strongly of the Circle. That wound was a bit too raw to poke at.
