Okay, screw it. Dante had spent some part of yesterday trying to figure out how guitar tabs worked, just to kill the boredom after the sugar buzz had gone down. Now he was gonna spend today at work trying to work them out in a more productive way.

... so yeah. He'd given in and snagged the black-and-red guitar when he came in. He sat down with it, put it over his knee, and pulled up the tab for an Iggy Pop song he'd found yesterday.

It took him a while to make it work. He couldn't quite get the rhythm down. But by the end of the day, he had the central riff down all right. He was... just going to ignore how stupidly proud that had him feeling, okay?

Peridot had a problem that she really should have foreseen before she decided that maybe she should start actually coming in to work again to do her job. There were things she wanted to build, and somebody had actually come in that morning asking if she could make their toaster fly, and then there was that one technical difficulty.

That one teeny, tiny hiccup in her plans.

When she stepped up to the workbench, she was looking up at the bottom of it.

"I really miss my limb enhancers," she muttered, and then set about trying to find a step-ladder. She wasn't going to be getting very much done today without it.
