There was a flying toaster in his shop. That was... a new one.

It was new enough that Tony took a break from his usual work to give the poor thing a go at fixing the design. Because someone was a sucker for lost causes. That would be why Tony was in the shop today, tinkering on what looked like a perfectly normal toaster.

And why it now had some nifty racing stripes on it.

Demon Marcus, Sunday

Sparkle had come into the shop this morning, taken one look at the counter, and had let loose an impressive screech before bolting across the room to try to put a knocked-over fish tank upright. The gremlin who had knocked it over had bolted, splashing through the small lake on the floor and just narrowly missing stepping on the poor betta who was stuck on his side in a puddle, looking... surprisingly irate, for a betta, but otherwise fine.

It took Sparkle all of three seconds to get Milady set up in an empty cup of water. It took him a full hour to mop up the mess, and another twenty minutes to clear a space on the sill by the window to put the fish tank out with the Halloween display, where he would be safe from getting knocked over for the time being.

Okay, that was a great start to the day, right there. At least bettas were hardy?

[OOC: The method RP is strong today. Kilgore the betta is fine, the cats are grounded, and I'm still waiting to see if it rained in the apartment downstairs. OCD-free.]

"I get the feeling I'm missing something," Kanan noted as he stepped into the diner for his shift today to see the staff carving pumpkins instead of actually working. "I'm going to need at least one of you guys to tell me what it is I'm missing, and the rest of you guys to get back to work."

Pumpkin. Pumpkin everything.

Kanan was about ready for autumn to be over. The pumpkin everything was starting to wear him down, and now they were looking at him.
