Halloween party at The Boards

As promised, they had dropped Joni off at the vet, gotten someone to clean up the mess, and now there was a lot of alcohol and food.

The flowers and such were gone, but at least the decorations that were left were mostly black and saffron-colored, which would work as well for Halloween as anything.

Actually, given their wedding attempts, it would probably work better for Halloween.

Jono had chosen music, Hannibal had cooked food, and the doors were thrown open. The erstwhile grooms were dressed in costumes, and they hoped other people would be, too.

Happy Halloween, everybody!

The kitchen staff were all dressed up in funky yellow goggles and ugly utility coveralls, today, resulting in them sulking in opposite corners of the room, glaring at each other.

"They can't agree on who has to change," one of the servers told Eliot. Eliot sighed and adjusted his cowboy hat.

"Yeah. I figured that out."
