Jono's head? Still killing him. Jono's mood? Still cranky. Jono's semi-adopted daughter figure? Still taking a back-seat to the apparently-too-stuck-on-one-wish-to-just-make-a-portal-to-Kathy-and-get-it-over-with-dammit near all-powerful being that resided within her.

Jono's new best friend? The little squirrel-looking thing that scampered across the counter ten minutes into his shift, silencing both the stereo (who had already decided it was going to spend today playing the greatest hits of Sugar Kane as performed on kazoo and tambourine) and the little blue people who were having some kind of morning meeting, complete with tiny megaphone fashioned out of a leaf.

Yeah, the Silence could stay, for now. Jono would try to lure it out with peanuts or something later.

Groovy Tunes is open, and once again... silent.

Blissfully, counter-productively silent.

PARTY!, Caritas, Saturday Evening

There was a themeless party happening at Caritas tonight. Like, sure, there were various kinds of party stuff and decorations around, but there wasn't an overarching theme to any of it. Beyond, maybe, just 'party'. In fact, there was a glittery gold banner hanging above the bar that just said #PARTY. As well as a sign out front that said the same.

Because sometimes people just needed a party, you know?

Tino was manning the bar where drinks could be had and random cardboard party crowns could be picked up. Meanwhile in the lounge, there were all manners of snacks on offer. Including three kinds of jello shots. Although maybe those should've been classified as drinks instead of snacks, 'cause the rest of the snacks were more in the more traditional chips and stuff kind of style. But whatever.
