The cooking staff was feeling adventurous again. Kanan didn't quite know what to make of that fact, except that it involved making hamburgers... but using pancakes as the bun.

"I'll try this once, he said to the cook as a plate was tentatively shoved his way. "But I can't guarantee I'll finish it."

He'd finish it. And he'd go back for seconds.

Sparkle was putting out rainbows today. Just rainbow everything into the display in the window, from tye-dye to stripes to shirts to hats to bathing suits. Sparkle himself had donned a black t-shirt with a big rainbow flag across it, because if he had to be working during Baltimore Pride weekend, he was at least going to observe it.

Oh yeah.

The Boards, Sunday Afternoon

Jono was actually in a fairly good mood today as he opened the Boards for the weekly band rehearsal. Even if, truth be told, he couldn't actually tell the entirety of who actually was in the bloody group these days.

So basically, at this point, if you showed up and wanted to play an instrument or sing, it was fair game. Maybe it was more fun that way anyhow.

If there was anything going on outside the island this weekend, the only reason Atton knew about it was his roommate looking sad or something.

No, Atton was spending his weekend arguing with Tino, as was right and just.

The whole argument ended, once again, with Tino in the maintenance closet and Atton sitting up front, sipping juma.

That was life.
