Pick Your Poison, Wednesday

Starting (or, well, continuing since Ino hadn't been to sleep yet) her day injured and poisoned and having to heal it wasn't really Ino's favourite way to start a day. That being said, she'd had much worse days on reflection, so though she was a bit pale from blood loss and her arm was bandaged, she was at work.

A potion might've fixed up what her chakra hadn't finished healing, but Ino hadn't wanted to risk it after the way antidotes had failed on her. She'd finish healing it later, once she'd rested.

Ino was wearing a pale, summery green dress today instead of her usual uniform and her hair was loose, tumbling down her back to float just above the floor. She wasn't doing a whole lot of new work, mostly just drinking tea.

But hey, she was there. Ino figured that was a win today.

Groovy Tunes, Wednesday

 It had turned out that Wednesdays were going to be busy for Lucille, with both working at Groovy Tunes and being TA in Karla's class. She didn't mind though, it kept her from worrying about the situation at home, and working gave her well needed money.

Perhaps the Silence had missed her? It was hard to tell, but the creature spent the day sitting on one of the CD-displays, making playing any kind of music impossible. It was a good thing that Lucille had brought a book.

Covent Garden Flowers, Wednesday

There was a note waiting for Peter this morning, and he read it, gave it a skeptical look, then called the customer.

"Hello? Yes, this is the flower shop. You were asking about bouquets for National Chicken Wing day?"

...

"I'm afraid we don't have anything ready made, but I'm happy to work on something. Did you want something more ornamental, or..."

...

"Yes, I understand. Yes, of course. I'll see what I can do."

Which was why, in between bouts of dealing with a clingy hens-and-chicks, Peter was seeing what sorts of peppers and spices would make a good bouquet.
