Apparently, Sparkle noted as he made his way in through the front door of Demon Marcus, in spite of the fact that the front wall was also gone, it had been too much to hope that he'd be smiled upon by the magical business repair pixies over the course of the week, somehow. He did note that someone had been doing a lot of sorting of the stock, and smiled faintly, making a mental note to get something nice for Ada in thanks or something.

Probably liquor. That seemed about the direction all of this was headed in, anyway.

His morning was going to be spent trying to figure out what to do about that hole in the front wall. He was pretty sure he could fake something with, like, some vapour barrier and some of the boards that had managed to survive the... shark... thing. But mostly he was just left kind of staring and feeling overwhelmed by the whole thing while occasionally halfheartedly googling quick and dirty home repairs and wondering where the fuck he was supposed to find, like, a radial arm saw or even just a sheet of plywood around here.

Luke's, Sunday

Kanan had heard that the situation at Luke's was bad. He hadn't realized quite how bad until he arrived to lend a hand during his usual Sunday hours and there wasn't a pancake to be seen.

You knew it was dire when it was a Sunday without pancakes. It still wasn't the worst he'd ever seen, but after eight years of traveling the galaxy in the wake of the Empire's takeover he had a really, really high bar to hit where that was concerned.

It looked like someone had done a lot of the tidying already. The puddles he'd half expected to find were gone, the chairs had been put upright, that sort of thing. There were still huge pieces of debris that needed to be cleared away, though, and so Kanan was making himself useful that way, trusting the Force to not let him move anything that was still carrying any sort of weight, because it looked like what was left of the upstairs needed all the support it could get.

Luke's wasn't open so much as the door was propped open with a mangled chair so that Kanan could haul the impossibly heavy stuff outside. There were going to be a lot of trips back and forth today.

And still no pancakes.

[OOC: Open in that it is a business post in town that you're free to swing by to interact in, but closed for business for obvious reasons!]

Well, for better or for worse, Jono had finished moving what remained of his stock from the Groovy Tunes over to the Boards that morning.

'What remained of his stock' mostly consisted of a few boxes of CDs, a couple of lucky albums on vinyl that hadn't been smashed by a fallen beam, three of the guitars that had been narrowly missed by the shark where they'd been hanging on the back wall, a handful of replacement guitar strings, a couple of amplifiers that hadn't been on the floor when the flooding started, and the (somewhat wrinkled) books that Lucille had put out to dry.

Everything else had taken too much water damage or had been crushed. Well. The stereo had survived, but that didn't surprise Jonothon so much. He was fairly certain that it was too spiteful to die.

So he was sitting in the lobby of the Groovy Tunes today come rehearsal time, making absolutely certain that the three guitars he'd salvaged could still handle a tuning and weren't secretly ruined in some way he just hadn't noticed yet.

Whee.

"Well... this is homey," Atton said.

Look, he hadn't been back to Caritas since before the sharkpocalypse. "So there was definitely a hole," he said, staring up at the ceiling. "... Space."

He shook his head, got behind the bar, and immediately poured himself a drink. He didn't usually drink on the job, but this warranted it.
