Covent Garden Flowers, Tuesday

Today was... quiet, in the flower shop.

Blissfully so. No phone ringing off the hook, no crazy flower orders to put together. Just... silence.

Nathan settled in and started working on arrangements so intently that he didn't even notice when his florists tape fell to the floor and didn't so much as make a town.

A quiet day in the flower shop indeed.

Furnado Animal Shelter, Tuesday

Well, the shelter was open for adoptions again, and while there were a few people who came in today saying they had been waiting until Zack's cute furry animal embargo had ended, for the most part, it was back to business as usual at Furnado.

Which meant that Zack had the puppy playpen set up in the shop area, and was hard at work throwing toys around in there and wrestling with a few of them to pass his free time whenever he had a spare minute.

Moments like this made him wonder why he ever joined SOLDIER. He should have just opened a pet shop right off the bat.

He didn't really believe that. But it was a nice thought in moments like this.

Needful Things; Tuesday [02/20].

When she pulled out a big box of antique spoons that needed to be put out, Summer didn't think too much of it at first. But as she started to try to find a good place to put them for display, she noticed that there were Nordic scenes engraved in the handles, and, suddenly, a task that should have taken all of twenty minutes turned into an all-day long distraction as she shifted through and inspected each one to see if they were all the same.

Spoiler alert: they weren't.

Just wait 'til she got to the dirty ones.

It was a quiet night at the bar, so Kitty just turned the Olympics coverage up in the back room so she could watch, even as Tino rolled his eyes.

“Yes, it’s still going, deal with it,” she said, pausing to watch the event again. “I bet I could totally do that.”

Groovy Tunes, Tuesday

Raven was feeling the hell out of the stereo's choice of music for today, to the point where she wasn't getting a whole lot of actual work done at work. She was too busy dancing around the store. She hadn't seen the movie yet -- movies involved a hell of a lot of being around other people when they first came out, especially big anticipated ones like this one was -- but that didn't mean she wasn't all over the gifsets on tumblr and every positive review that came out.

And, well, if she ended up prowling around the shelves for awhile, looking for something to pounce on . . . at least she was enthusiastic?

It was a casual Tuesday for Mitsutada. He was relaxed, the rest of the kitchen staff were relaxed, everyone was just really chill.
