The Perk- Monday morning

Break week left Sabine with even more time to fill, and giving herself actual projects seemed to be helping with that. And so she wouldn't get distracted by other stuff she could do, she headed to the Perk to hang out at a window seat with what passed for caf here.

She might be sketching out little trooper costume designs. For no reason. Really.

The Beach - Monday afternoon.

Almost a week away, several days spent doing nothing more than racing a motorbike through some winding mountain roads and trails, had done Kaidan some good. Bumping into a mainlander friend had been a pleasant surprise, and given him several things to think about.

His morning run had been a bit more strenuous than usual, bringing him around to the beach. It was a warm day and the sun was out, with some cloud cover to dim the bright sky and make sunglasses unnecessary. Kaidan strolled along, searching for flat stones. After filling his pockets, he found a place where he wouldn't accidentally hit anyone with a misfire, and began, in the grand tradition of Boys On The Beach In Fandom, of chucking stones. Most of them skipped nicely, but a few were pure plunkers, since his mind wasn't really on the activity.

Chilly Boulder, Monday Afternoon

Ino? Ino was in a good (and rather giggly) mood today as she (ostensibly) plinked away at a report for Tseng but mostly indulged in her sweet tooth with an appallingly large ice cream.

And it was totally because class sign ups had opened and, heh, all of Jono's complaining to the moose hadn't changed a thing!

He was still stuck with the class she'd made up for him. Yes!

With that in mind, she conceded that her ice cream was likely to be more of a last meal sort of dealie but, well, Ino was a Turk.

She liked living dangerously.

It was another night at the bar--Tiny being weird, Verity threatening him with the club soda hose--when her phone rang. Verity saw Sarah's number on the Caller ID and answered the phone with a cheerful, "Hey! What's up?"
