Today was significantly nicer than it had been for the past week and some change. Which, admittedly, was a very low bar to trip right on over, but here Kanan was, deciding that being out training with a potential storm on the way was the hill he was willing to die on anyway.

Was he paying attention to the clouds building overhead, growing decidedly more ominous with every passing minute? Maybe. Maybe that was exactly why he was totally fine with being out here today. He'd packed a few plastic rain ponchos in case of the weather actually committing to that threat of a thunderstorm. He'd still packed extra water bottles, because 'nicer' didn't mean it wasn't still humid. And he had a back-up plan in case of rain, where he'd bust down the door to an abandoned warehouse and have any sparring sessions go on there if the rain proved to be too much for anybody who might show up today.

Stance was, as usual, doing his excited puppy prance around the park, and Kanan had his training remote - Shooty McKillface, apparently - out so that he could deflect bolts back at it while he waited for either his usual Friday crew or the weather to arrive.

He enjoyed his entire Friday crew, but if he was being perfectly honest, he was hoping for the weather to get there first.

Ino kind of figured that, hey, why not she might as well show up at her own business for the second week in a row. Maybe it'd become a habit or something. At least until the first time she was called off on a Friday for a job on Gaia. That did take precedence over… pretty much everything.

In any case, it was a good thing she showed up, because they were entirely out of tea.

"What."

No, seriously, what?

She checked all of the canisters and… yes, entirely out of tea.

"Oh, come on," she grumbled, slapping a bell on the counter with a sign telling customers to ring it for service. "I haven't even had my tea yet this morning."

Then she gathered all the canisters up and stomped into the back room. She had some that she could refill at least partly, but most of them she was going to have to mix up from scratch because she didn't like keeping a huge supply on hand.

Stale tea was disgusting. Ino had standards.

Atton hadn't had as much coffee at the Perk in his life as he did during the months where he was officially living on Coruscant. Sometimes it was just nice to be reminded that there were people in the world who weren't a) Sparkle, b) apprentices, or c) his fellow Jedi.

And caramel coffee.

So there he was again, sitting by the window of the Perk, scowling at his communicator. Mical kept sending him messages. He'd already set his comm so it didn't let anyone know Atton was reading anything anyone sent him, but eugh.

He had to go back, he knew that. But Mical could've just left it at one message instead of constantly reminding him about it.

... and if anyone pointed out that Atton could've stopped this deluge any time by texting back the letter 'k', he was going to loudly protest somehow. Yes.

For whatever reason, all the stereo wanted to play today was tracks by Florence + The Machine. Dante didn't have a problem with them - he'd heard some fucking awesome remixes of 'Drumming Song' - but he was in the mood for something aggressive.

He managed to last through all the nice frilly pop tracks roughly until noon. Then he got up, slunk into the back, picked up a guitar and came back.

The electric, this time. He just needed something loud. He struck the strings and heard it roar.

"Aw, much better."

The weather lately had been hotter than usual. It didn't bother her as much as it seemed to bother the humans, but it still wasn't the best for working on the Ghost in.

She almost stayed home, but she did have a job, and Kanan seemed to need a bit of space since last night, so here she was.

Mostly trying to figure out if she could build a scooter or hoverbike out of parts she had here. It was a hobby.
