Everything was back to island-normal today, so Miguel was looking forward to a more low-key day.

Which lasted just until he got there and discovered the cook and dishwasher in a heated discussion over whether flowers or chocolates were better gifts.

"You know unless you're dating each other, you should probably just ask the person you're getting them for?" Miguel pointed out.

They both scowled at him.

Miguel held up his hands. "Whatever. Carry on. I'll make the food."
