All aboard for Iceland!

Trip participants were told to gather in front of the Portalocity office with their reasonable amounts of luggage in preparation of a week-long trip through Iceland in a series of mini-buses with limited storage space. So if it didn't fit underneath, you will absolutely be holding it. All week. Are the cute outfits really worth it? Are you suuuuuure?

But there would be wifi throughout the trip. No one needed that level of whining.

It was currently a balmy 36 F (2 C) in Reykjavík, so hopefully everyone had gloves and hats and coats, but if not, they would get to Iceland in plenty of time for some quick emergency shopping!

Caritas, Sunday

There hadn't been any missions worth talking about last week. Just a long slog through another diplomatic function, and then Mira's old Padawan had found him and the whole thing had gone downhill.

In short, Atton wasn't having a great week. He sat down behind the bar after putting up a WHISKEY COCKTAIL NIGHT sign by the door.

Half an hour in, he was so desperately in need of something mind-killing to do that he started to sort the different whiskeys by label color.

Covent Garden Flowers - Sunday

Fenris was a little late to the flower shop because he'd stopped by a store and picked up some little canvas mice for Tickles. He hadn't thought about whether catnip would be a thing a small plant-kitten would want to partake in and the more he thought about it the more he worried it would be sort of cannibalistic. He didn't want the little monster to feel left out and so, toys.

He was swarmed when he stepped through the door. "Yes, hello," Fenris greeted him patiently when he reached the shoulder and began to purr against his face. He held the mice up to dangle by their tails so Tickles could take tiny swats at them.

One by one, Fenris threw them deeper into the store. When the last one left his hand, Tickles tried to launch himself into the air after them. "WHATAREYOUDOINGSTOPTHATYOUCAN'TFLY!" he shouted all in one breath, scrabbling his hands to catch the kittenwillow and pulling him protectively against his chest. "Tickles! You climb down! You don't just leap like that! You don't have wings!" Fenris booped him sternly on the nose and gently put him on the floor so he could scamper after the toys.

Which were basically as large as he was. Nevertheless, he was able to successfully swat and chase them around the floor.

Exhaling a hard breath, Fenris switched the sign to 'Open' and unlocked the door.
