Furnado Animal Shelter; Thursday [03/21].

Being the excellent prince support that he was, Prompto agreed to cover Sidon's shift at the shelter that Thursday, since Sidon had to go and be all princely back in Hyrule about something. That meant double-duty, but that was fine. He wouldn't mind a little extra money in his pocket, and that just meant an extra day playing with the puppies.

Because of course he was mostly just playing with the puppies.

And he was sitting at the bottom of a puppy pile when he found himself suddenly one of the puppies himself.

Which was a little surprising at first, but...holy crap, yes! YES! He was a freaking puppy! He'd finally gotten an animal transformation, and it was great! It wasn't a chocobo, sure, but, hey, a puppy was nothing to sniff at! Especially when surrounded by other puppies, and, oh, man, they were going to play so hard today, this was the beeeest!

But then there was a moment when a thought struck Prompto and caused him to stand stock still at attention.

Wait. Would he still get paid if he was a puppy?

And wait! What if someone actually came in and tried to adopt him?

Well. He was already adopted, that wouldn't be so bad. Maybe kind of nice, actually, depending on who it was.

Syndulla Scrap, Thursday

Vette was tired. Like, super tired. Because... look, you try sleeping in a bed that had been on fire yesterday. Her sheets were a ruin of soot and ash, there was apparently enough polyester in the mattress that part of it had just flat-out melted, and there were springs sticking out here and there as a result. Weren't beds supposed to be some measure of fireproof? Probably the island's shenanigans at work there, too.

She'd talk to maybe the school's janitor or the moose in the office or something and get a replacement for that later. For now, she had work to do.

Super important work.

... She was totally just sitting and staring blearily at the scrap sculptures today. If anybody asked, maybe she could tell them she was admiring the art.

If she woke up enough to answer them coherently.

The Perk, Thursday Early Afternoon

Whatever had affected most of the island yesterday seemed to have skipped by Liam completely. Which, if he'd known that said strangeness would've potentially involved the temporary reappearance of one Robert Bullard, he would've been profoundly grateful to realize he'd avoided it. As it was he was just kind of relieved, as it all sounded pretty exhausting.

Today, though... was the drizzly, dreary sort of day where one just needed baked goods and a hot beverage.

So tea, cream puffs, and his favorite table at the Perk. Not a terribly bad afternoon, all told.

Covent Garden Flowers, Friday (3/22)

 There didn't seem to be much of a holiday theme for anything going on at the shop this morning, Keyleth noticed when she came in . . . unless you counted the small planter on the counter that appeared to be full of celery ready for eating, or garnishes, or whatever else you could do with celery.

She was trying to work it into some floral arrangements, much to the consternation of Tickles, who kept circling around the vases and occasionally giving them the most perplexed look a little purring plant could give to anything or anyone.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, she wasn't particularly thrilled with any of her attempts either.
