Atlas Gym, Monday (3/9)

Beau was just a little bit out of it today, and the Daylight Savings changeover could take the blame for that. Maybe the time zone difference, too; she'd spent the break week out in the Colorado wine country with Karolina, because going on food-and-wine adventures in different places was just their thing.

She hadn't quite been expecting the place to remind her a bit of Kamordah, though -- not a whole lot and not in a traumatizing way, but just enough for her to notice, and that had her just a little bit pensive on top of it all, too.

Still. It had been a nice trip, and Beau was actually helping the gym patrons out with minimal lapses into being an asshole. Lucky them.

[OOC: Who even knows what my week is going to look like, but assume epic SP. Oh wait, I called out sick today. Which doesn't guarantee I won't be asleep half the day, granted. Post is open, though!

Turtle & Canary; Monday [03/09].

Blech. Yeah. Summer was just not feeling it that morning. Sure, she'd had yesterday to sort of try to make the shift from vacation mode to regular life mode again, but vacation mode had been really nice, and most of yesterday was honestly dealing with a cat who had not been happy to have spent a week in the kennel at the shelter. Like, hello, Summer, she had very specifically chosen you to take her away from that place, and then you go and bring her back? RUDE.

So half the reason for coming into the store today was just to escape Pancakes. The other half was because she knew she had a job to do, and if she didn't do it, Shunsui definitely wouldn't, but, at the same time, it's not like anyone expected her to go all out, so a half-assed job was still a better job than her boss would have done. Maybe it would help her drum up the enthusiasm for her class tomorrow, too, but she doubted it.

Was it bad that she was already thinking of hopping in her ship and heading off somewhere else again after her barshift on Wednesday? Or even before? Yeah, it was probably pretty bad. But that was the kind of day Summer was having.

The Beach, Monday Morning

Four months of appointments every Monday afternoon, and the therapy sessions on the mainland had become such a part of Liam's routine that he felt guilty every time he skipped one. Which had been all of three times so far, two of which- including last week- had been planned absences. And one had been because Verity had been kidnapped by an evil goat-man.

And yet. Guilt.

They were back on the island now though, which meant back to the routine, which was good, because while spring break had been a lot of fun, it had been bookended by two particularly difficult anniversaries. There would be a lot to talk about today, and he needed to take the time to brood figure out just how much he wanted to say.

And where else to brood think about stuff than the beach, absurdly early in the morning?

Nell was kind of glad to be back in Fandom and kind of wishing she was still on vacation. It had been a wonderful trip, but it was nice to be back with the plants and flowers she'd been growing. Seemed like they missed her too.
