Even thought Tisarwat was fully planning on following through with Breq's suggestion of perhaps asking Lucille if she might be able to teach her how to play piano, she didn't want to go in completely ignorant, especially since it would be more impressive (if a bit disingenious) if she appeared to be able to pick up the basics quickly. So a good portion of Tisarwat's day (and some of her other days, too, since there wasn't much else for her to do at the moment anyway) was spent by the pianos, her phone propped up and playing tutorials in lieu of sheet music, as she studiously tried to follow along, with considerable breaks in between, for tea or just so that, if anyone did happen to come into the store needing help, she would be able to notice and do just that.

But the whole thing left her incredibly distracted, between learning and listening for customers, to the distraction of the tutorial videos themselves, to watching her own gloved fingers try to emulate the movements on the keys and remembering that the turquoise lacquer on her nails with the little fish meticulously painted on them that only she and one other person knew about was starting to come off and she should probably get them redone again soon, and then she had to make more tea because hers had gotten cold again...and then that awful person who always had to talk to her about vinyl was back, and she just wanted to go back to trying to figure out an impressive but easy piece.

Caritas- Tuesday

Apparently the zombies were trying their hand at being a jam band tonight. It was actually.,. really good?

Like when when the drummer's arm flew off and Tino had to go running to reattach it the drummer just waved him off because they'd picked up on the change in tempo really well.

Kitty was here, Caritas was open, and honestly it was kinda groovin'.
