After Anakin had gotten himself out of his house (apparently "no, you have to go to school this week" had not been a winning strategy for two children who just learned their dad was spending a week going to amusement parks), he arrived at the Portalocity Office to confirm their trip's details.

Leaving the logistics up to Portalocity seemed like a bit of a gamble, but it was 2020! What could possibly go wrong?

Satisfied that everything looked correct, Anakin sat on his suitcase and waited for the rest of the group to arrive.

The Perk, Sunday Afternoon

With a cup of tea and a biscuit, Lucille sat down by the window, watching the rain fall outside. Her umbrella hung on the backrest of her chair, and the hem of her worn skirt was wet. At least there was no red mud here, although there was a part of her that missed it, almost painfully so, one of those small things that reminded her of something best forgotten.

She took a sip from her cup and looked out on the passers-by.

It looked like it was going to be a quiet week. It didn't necessarily mess up Silver's day to day life in any way; it just meant it was a little more eerie in town with less people. Expecting it to be a slow shift he decided to read up more on Halloween since it seemed to be a big thing right now.

Just seemed like a excuse to eat candy, though he wasn't sure why people needed an excuse in the first place.
