Boy, was Troy feeling glad that the store was usually pretty quiet and not a whole lot of people came into Groovy Tunes during his shift, because that meant that no one, because then, if people actually came into Groovy Tunes during his shift, they would have been treated to a high-pitched, terrified shriek escaping from Troy as he lept up on the counter and stared around the store with his eyes wide.

Because he was definitely sure he saw a rat. And not, like, a big person-sized actual shopper rat like Freya had been or anything like that, but a regualr-sized gross rat.

That he was not afraid of, thank you very much! He just didn't like them, okay?

He realized, then, that it could have just been one of the radio squirrels, which reminded him that even if there weren't any people in the store, there were still squirrels, and so he made sure to shout out, "THE FLOOR IS LAVA!" so that they knew why he was up on the counter and not going down on the floor any time soon, even though he knew that he was doing radio in the morning and could tactfully avoid anything that made it look like he was afraid of rats or something.

Which was ridiculous.

He just didn't like them because they weren't cool!

Groovy Tunes is open!

Anyone who actually went into the meditation room would be greeted with a new, completed sight on one wall: a mural inspired by the spas in Japan, complete with green trees and a tub surrounded by rocks and running water, and also a little green kid waving hello off to the right side of it all.

What. He was a lot of fun to paint.

With her work done, Sabine snapped a few pictures of her work and then went back to actual work up front. Maybe she could get people to actually go in there to see it.

[Open!]

Duke had managed to get most of the glitter off of him after last night's fiasco of a class, though his hair still sparkled faintly under the lights of Luke's. He was doing his best to ignore it and carry on as usual, and for the most part, his staff was following his lead.

For the most part.

"You smell like sunscreen," Billy said, hovering just behind Duke's shoulder as he sliced yams.

"Please stop sniffing me," Duke answered. "It's creepy."

Today's specials
Coconut-crusted mahi mahi nuggets with sweet potato fries

Billy buried his nose in Duke's shoulder and inhaled. Duke rolled his eyes to the ceiling with a long suffering sigh.

Luke's was open.

"Why is there glitter everywhere?" Eric asked, frowning around at the bar.

Tiny shrugged and slid a Southern Comfort and True Blood over to him.

Eric decided he didn't much care.

[OOC: Guess what I was going to post 6 hours ago?! Sigh.]
