Summer might have been a bit late coming into the store for her usual Monday shift. Because there were just some mornings you had to embrace being trapped under a happy, sleepy cat for a few hours, especially after a big party weekend.

What was she going to do about it, anyway? Fire herself?

Seivarden knew nothing about beer, and it wasn't her drink of choice, but today there had been a delivery of all kinds of beer, some, as far as she could gather, very fancy ones. 

Tino knew about beer, but only whether it was light or dark or came in a bottle or on tap. So Seivarden decided to just arrange some bottles on the bar and write a sign:

Steve was very nice today and refilled Danny's snack drawer--with power bars, dried beet chips, and trail mix.

Diego might just kill him.

The Trooper Station was open! And healthy, whether they liked it or not.

Monday: Covent Garden Flowers

Nell was always happiest when she was working with growing things and today was no exception. She was singing quietly to the pots of African violets and was amused when the shy things started humming along. It was fine until the more raucous Gerbera daisies got into the act, loudly and off key. Nell tried to settle them down, but the Venus Flytraps - wait, where did the Venus Flytraps come from? - started blowing raspberries and the orchids started making a loud screeching noise in protest.

Nell found herself standing in the middle of the shop yellng, "All you'uns better simmer down here or you might just find a little pesticide in your water tomorrow!"

She'd never do that, of course, and was immediately embarrassed to have been yelling at a store full of plants, but there you have it.

It was a much quieter afternoon, though.
