Covent Garden Flowers; Tuesday [04/20].
Tuesday, April 20th, 2021 04:39 amIt was pretty quiet in the flower shop that day, both in terms of orders and the flowers themselves. If anything, the violets in particular seemed a bit shy. But that suited Astrid nicely; she was kind of in a quiet mood, and had brought a book along to read that she was going to make quick progress through if the quiet kept up, idly remembering a time when she'd first arrived here, was it two summers ago? With a recommended reading list from her mother who thought that, without her guiding hand, Astrid's education was about to be completely worthless trash and required supplimental support.
She wondered if that list was still buried somewhere amongst all the sketchbooks and letters that hadn't been turned into ash and smeared across the wall in paint. Maybe she should try and dig it up again, and see what sort of progress still needed to be made on it.
Or at least get a sardonic kick out of how completely pretentious and full-of-itself the whole list was.
Covent Garden is open!
