Groovy Tunes; Thursday [05/20].
Thursday, May 20th, 2021 05:00 amTisarwat was sort of hoping for a nice quiet day, drinking tea and listening to some soothing classical music while attending to the basic administrative tasks of running the store, but that went right out the window when the annoying vinyl-loving hipster came in. Which might have been fine if he decided to keep to himself, but that was rarely the case.
What really surprised Tisarwat, though, was when he walked directly up to the counter and handed her something.
"What is this?" she asked.
The answer, apparently, was a job application.
And the fact that Tisarwat's first thought was how she should take him on board because they could really use the people was a little terrifying and troubling, and definitely reminded her that she needed to put up a Now Hiring sign again and maybe get someone else in. Hey. It had worked with Troy, and he'd been...okay so far.
Tisarwat took the application and informed the vinyl hipster that she would give it a review and get back to him shortly.
And then waited about ten minutes after he left before going and putting a sign up on the door and windows:
Now Hiring!
Could a sign read off as desperate? Tisarwat really hoped not.
Groovy Tunes is open!
