Turtle & Canary; Wednesday [05/19].

Perhaps it was inspired by his class or maybe it was something else, but Shunsui got the little spark of inspiration to do a little writing in his downtime. As if all his time wasn't downtime. And 'a little' writing was actually overstating things by a lot. There'd been a spark of inspiration, but instead of igniting into a burning flame of poetry and/or prose, it merely fizzled out with barely a hint of smoke.

Shunsui didn't seem too bothered by the lack of progress; you couldn't really force these things, after all. But it did work out nicely that whenever Apu-san came around needing help with something or with the suggestion that Shunsui ought to do something, he could tell him he would be there in just a moment, he'd just gotten it, yes, that's it, let him just get his next part out, and go to scribble down what was essentially nonsense until Apu-san just got tired of waiting and went to do it himself.

There might even been something good and useful in those scribblings, too! Who knew?

Covent Garden Flowers; Wednesday [05/18].

Last week, Astrid sort of missed having gone down to participate...or even just spectate...for the Wednesday summer activity, so she was making it a point to take a longer lunch break to spend some time checking it out today. It should be fine, she figured, although she also figured it would make sense that there would suddenly be a rush on people needing flowers on a random Wednesday when so many people were actually doing something else.

They could wait.

The flowers weren't going anywhere.

Actually, now that Astrid thought about it, she was a little hesitant to leave for a well-timed lunch break for the Wednesday activity, because honestly? The flowers might go somewhere...

Guess she'd find out!

Covent Garden is open!

Caritas; Wednesday [05/19].

There was still no band at Caritas that night, which was a little weird, but not as weird as Tino acting, like, super sus about it, and being--

--actually, you know what? No, Tino was just always kind of like that, wasn't he, and Summer shouldn't really read too much into it, and she just hoped that, whatever the band was up to, that it didn't involve more steel drums. Maybe they were all inspired by the drummer's vacay to Jamaica and decided to take one all together. Maybe they were on a cruise. She was pretty sure she saw a terrible horror movie about that once!

Either way, it wasn't that hard to set it up to just put some music on through her phone, but it was a little weird how used to you got to them just being a part of the scenery until they were gone.

Ohgod, what if one of them went to Scotland? What if one of them came back with bagpipes? Summer did not think she could deal.

Octavia had no clue what was up with the selection of music that was happening at the club tonight. Not that she'd given it much thought in the first place, beyond having gone to see if there was anything to be done about the playlist.

But there wasn't, so. It was just one of those nights, again.

There seemed to also be an abundance of fruit behind the bar. Octavia was mostly using it for snacking on throughout her shift.
