Groovy Tunes; Thursday [05/27].
Thursday, May 27th, 2021 04:56 amTisarwat had been a little worried that being squirrel-sized yesterday might have had a negative effect on her in that odd way that certain things like that would have on the spot where her Anaander implant used to be, but she actually felt perfectly fine today, if tired. That obstacle course was no joke, and she'd never exactly been in the best physical condition. So she was pretty tired today, both physically and mentally, since having Breq visit was nice, but it got her brain reeling on thoughts and ideas for her plans once she did finally take that trip home.
It was good, though. She was glad Breq showed up before she finalized any plans, because that just meant that she could pump Breq for information and details about how everyone was doing and what was going on so she could go in with a better, more effective strategy. Delicately, of course. She didn't want to make it obvious to Breq that she had been making plans to make it more than just the social visit it would seem on the outside, and, honestly, that was half the reason she hadn't actually gone back yet. If she put it off long enough, there was no way one could argue that she'd clearly been too eager.
Either way, she was expecting a quiet day at the shop, where she could just sort of relax with some tea and some nice music, since Troy had managed to get the stereo back in working order, and had left a long, detailed, mostly actually incomprehenisble note for her about the process that also included an odd tangent about singing vegetables and how, actually, wouldn't singing vegetables in shows be a bad idea because why would kids want to eat their singing friends?
Tisarwat was mildly concerned that she could kind of see his point there.
