The Park, Saturday afternoon

Last night had been quite loud and busy, and last Saturday had been even more, though in a different way. Today Stark was looking for something calm and quiet to do. He'd walked around the island for a bit before going in to the Perk for one of those frozen and extremely sugary coffee drinks. The frozen ones were best in summer.

Then he'd gone into the park to sit by the pond and just watch the ducks and flamingos for a while. It was peaceful and he hadn't, he thought, been outdoors enough recently. The bugs weren't terrible today, at least.

Miguel was downright cheerful today, grinning as he headed for the coffee pot. The cook gave him a questioning look, but he just grinned back. Let them wonder.

Covent Garden Flowers, Saturday

The shop was unexpectedly conventional today, with no Fandom oddities, which Lucille refused to call normal, since she was more used to it being the opposite. She didn't think much about it though, since her mind was on the upcoming trip Tisarwat had invited her to, to her universe, which meant spaceships and other planets, and probably plenty of good tea. Tisarwat had mentioned a garden too, where she knew the horticulturalist. Lucille was quite looking forward to it.

Which was why she was writing notes to her employees with instructions, not that she thought they needed many.
