special_rabbitAll things considered, Blackstone Foundry and Forge really had come out of that hole in pretty good shape. Not a whole lot had been damages--certainly nothing beyond repair!--and it wasn't like the shop wasn't a stranger to adversity at this point, anyway! There was, however, the one problem of the giant shuriken lodged into the middle of the floor, which Amaya, for all her admiration for a bold statement, had decided had to go, because she admired a good workflow more.
So the past few weeks, she'd been working steadily on rigging up the Crumbler to be able to help provide enough leverage to actually pull the sucker out the floor, because, zards, it was in there but good! And, finally putting the final touches on the upgrades that morning, she was ready to fire the machine up and get it going, with a contraption designed to just grab the weapon and pull and wrangle it out with all its might.
It wasn't pretty. It was loud and the Crumbler started smoking a disturbing amount from the effort, and it was probably obscenely dangerous, really, if you thought about it, but, in the end, it actually managed to work, and the Crumbler plucked the gigantic shuriken right out of the floorboards, once and for all...
Only to send it flying out of its grasp, with one final deserable burst and bang, and straight into one of the walls.
Amaya considered this for a moment, and, considering she'd kept the thing displayed on the walls anyway, this was much preferable to it being stuck in the floor, and, really, it was pretty dynamic and it was at a height where she at least could fit right under it, though she supposed taller folks might want to watch their heads and their necks (and chests, in Sidon's case, more than likely) when in that particular area of the shop.
Honestly, though, she could definitely live with this. So she admired the results for a moment before giving the Crumbler, which almost seemed to have deflated, overly spent and clearly having outdone itself to bursting, a little reassuring pat.
"Well done," she told it. "Don't worry, we'll get you fix up right quick, and hopefully, maybe next time, you can do it even better."
Because why wouldnt' there be a next time?
The Forge is open!
