Much like Troy before her, Tisarwat was sort of marveling at the many-necked guitar and trying to figure out just how a person could even really play the thing. Sure, she'd been slowly teachning herself some of the basics, but this was well beyond her level or even most tutorials she could find on YouTube.

She started to wonder if she should track down where it came from and send it back, or if it wasn't really supposed to be a playable instrument at all, but rather some sort of modern art piece, but then the Annoying Vinyl Hipster declared that he actually knew how to play it and decided to...'treat' Tisarwat to a performance.

She had so many regrets, and decided that, if this was the sort of music (she felt she was using the term generously) that the many-necked guitar was going to produce, she was doing the island...nay, the entire planet of Earth...a favor by destroying it the first moment she had the chance.

The cracks on the stone were alight by now, a soft, blue hum that reflected the dreams already swirling within. But it was not yet done - it was not yet time. There were more dreamers to be found.

So that was why Rey was sitting inside in the air conditioning by the window with a drink and a pastry, feeling vaguely disloyal. But you know what, it was a nice distraction from the fact that whatever she'd been expecting the last few days still hadn't happened yet so she had that going for her.

Was it too hot for leather pants? Probably. Was Eric going to switch to leather shorts? Or course not, that's tacky. But he had forgone his shirt for the evening, and so he was lounging in leather pants with the AC cranked up as Tiny put the sign up on the bar.

SHIRTLESS THURSDAYS ARE BACK. GET DRUNK AND MAKE POOR CHOICES.

Hard to argue with that, right?
