Diego was at work, but wasn't really working at the moment. The last week he had been going back and forth from clinging to Annie to brooding alone about the fate of his siblings, and it was starting to take a toll on him. He had paperwork on his desk and it looked like he was intently reading the reports, but really he was just zoning out.

Miguel came in and, as usual, beelined for the coffee pot. Which meant weaving around the servers and busboy, who seemed to be moving a lot today.

They cheered when he made it, and he blinked and looked around. "Are you all dancing?"

"Yeah!" the busboy cheered. "Good job, you meshed right in!"

"I was not dancing," Miguel said. "Why are you dancing?"

"Felt like a day for it!" he shrugged.

"...Right. Forget I asked." Miguel buried his nose in his mug.

And once the dates were done, Jaye was behind the bar to serve drinks to any of the people who decided to stick around. Maybe some people wanted to explore some new connections? Or meet up with someone they didn't get? Or just wanted to drink? Or had no idea there had been an event today?
