Groovy Tunes; Tuesday [10/05].

The heavy metal was back in the speakers, but, thankfully without a headache to go along with it this week, Tisarwat was finding that she....was actually starting to not mind it as much. It all felt wholly unsophistical and improper, and unnecesarily loud, but there was still something about it that almost seemed to tap into something more primal. If anything, she was actually finding it a pretty good exercise for her guitar work, to try and keep up with the music as she played along, made all the more challenging since of course she was playing with gloves.

She'd have to look into what kind of gloves might be best for guitar-playing, these ones were not working too terribly well, and it wasn't like Tisarwat was going to complain about an opportunity to splurge on some new gloves.

And she also supposed she could be doing actual work, but the store seemed to be running just fine on the absolute minimum effort already, and, besides, who could concentrate on something like work with all this heavy rock music going on? Certainly not Tisarwat! So this was a way to still be productive.

The Junk Yard- Tuesday

 It had been a while since Dwight had been by the junkyard, but he figured it would a good place to get some scrap materials to work with. No point wasting the good wood back in the shop on a lot of tinkering and rough prototypes right?

So there he was with the small cart from his shop already partly loaded with some odds and ends. He would have to remember to stop by and check the place out more often. He had quite the haul already started as it was.

Magic Box | Tuesday

Ah, it was finally October. Time for Wanda to keep doing what she had been doing since August: Decorating for Halloween.

Today it was putting up orange and purple streamers. She had a soul playlist going from her computer, and was humming along to the songs under her breath as she was on the ladder hanging up the streamers.

Fandom Fire Station | Tuesday

Buck was in a better mood this week, finding that the homesickness was wearing off the longer he was here. It helped that he had been in contact with people in LA enough by now to know they hadn't forgotten him entirely. It was a weird fear to have, he knew, but he had it nevertheless.

It also helped he found something to do today. Sure, it was only checking the expiration dates on the supplies, but it was a task!

Caritas- Tuesday

It was October now, and so Kitty fully expected that she'd walk into more decorations this week. They'd never catch up to the Magic Box but decorating the bar was tradition. The new orange pumpkin lights were expected.

The cute spider piñata was not.

"Uhhh this feels like a bad choice for a bar."

The Park, Tuesday Afternoon

Margo had cleared most of the funky weirdness out of her head yesterday, but some freaky death cobwebs remained. She decided to make the best of the last few nice days of the year, slapped on something airy and flowing, found her earbuds, and took to the great outdoors.

The locals called it the park.

She strolled along the path towards the duck pond, singing along softly to her 90s playlist. “Some day somebody’s gonna make you want to turn around and say goodbye. . .” She stretched her arms out, vibing with the music. “Until then, baby, are you going to let ’em hold you down and make you cry?”

And. . . duck pond. Time to see if the flamingos liked breadcrumbs and her wonky amateur singing voice.
