Being a temple maiden for a weekend was certainly....different, but Sakaki was starting to understand that, around here, perhaps, it wasn't actually all that different. But being Motoko had had actually been a little....inspiring. She was just so strong and determined! So focused on her training! And so...tall! Just like her! Sure, the height thing hadn't been much of an issue here, because everyone here was so tall, but it was nice to sort of get inside the mind of another Japanese girl who was also absurdly tall, compared to her peers, and feel a little less alone.

There was....one thing that was less enjoyable about being Motoko, though, and that was the fact that, after a whole weekend of training, Sakaki found that her arms were also quite tired, even if she was back in her own body again.

And of course it would be today that they had a shipment of very heavy bags of pet food that needed to be lifted and moved! Sakaki was quite sure that, by the end of the day, her arms may very well fall off. But she was going to try and be strong like Motoko!

....even if she ended up just dragging half the bags across the floor, which she was sure Motoko would not have approve of!

This last weekend had been...a lot for Astrid. She was expecting to have a lot to deal with just from having her first therapy session with Dr. Lecter on Friday, and, it turned out, that she had so much more to add onto that now, because you didn't exactly expect to wake up the next day as a different version of yourself, one that had never actually come to Fandom, and all the memories of what that would have meant for her, and also, apparently, having been cast by a different actress.

And a lot of them? Were not great. Startling, in fact, and at least ten times harder than what Astrid had become today, and she doubted anyone could blame her, with what she'd gone through. So it was strange, to think about the fact that she was kind of right all along: there was nothing Fandom could put her through that would be worse than what she'd experience back home. And now she had the mixed-up, messed-up weekend to prove it.

It was interesting, though, that her life in Fandom had still given her Claire. Out of all the things to share with that Astrid.....why that one?

But would she really have traded it for any of the others? Getting shot by Starr for sleeping with Ray, sexual favors for pot underneath the school bleachers, being visciously attacked and scarred by dogs, being starved out in Hollywood by Amelia Ramos and her padlocked fridge, selling all of her nice things for Rena Grushenka, and making eyes at her boyfriend...

It was almost as if she couldn't recognize that Astrid as herself anymore.

But she was herself again, and herself had her first day on her own doing the ordering and inventory tasks that Summer had promoted her to doing, and she would do them, as best she can, while her mind wandered far too much on experiences she had if things had been different.

At least she wouldn't be out of things to talk about if she went to see Dr. Lecter again this week.

...as if they didn't have enough to talk about already.

So, spending the weekend as Steve Rogers had definitely been a thing that had happened and Steve now missed the effortless way he'd been able to jog for hours. (He didn't miss the weird anger and sadness that Steve had felt and he was not looking forward to running into the guy because wow, awkward.)

The Troopers were silently rejoicing in the second week in a row he hadn't made them do some insane form of physical exersion, but Steve was catching up on paperwork.

And Soduku.

Mostly Soduku.

Dwight had woken up quite himself that morning. Though maybe it was the headache he still felt as he got out of bed and pulled on fresh clothes, or maybe some of what Edge had said the other day about the place was true.  Maybe he did need to spruce things up a little. He had decided he was staying in Fandom after all.  Might as well not let the place look entirely like a bachelor's pad right?

Dwight considered this as he went down into the workshop and started up the coffee pot. And it was then the realization of everyone he had seen and spoken with the last two days as his alternate version hit. Maybe.... maybe he would just stay in the shop today and wait out the awkwardness for a little longer.
