Well, at least Miguel didn't have to worry about hangovers after good parties; there was that, right?

It had served to remind him, though, that Halloween was coming up, and he should probably find a costume that a) he didn't hate, b) wouldn't totally screw him over if he ended up turning into it, and c) went with Rosa's no doubt planned "jeans and leather jacket". Without being too couple-y.

So he'd be planning that while he drank his coffee. But he could absolutely put down the phone if anybody needed food.

Irene was not hungover. How dare the narrative even insinuate such a thing? Just because last night had been something of a late night, and just because she had needed to dip into her very finest under-eye creams, and just because she had resisted the urge to wear her sunglasses right into the bakery. (But doing such a thing would have absolutely told everyone she was hungover, which, you know, she clearly wasn't.)

She was ensconced cozily in a sleek black turtleneck and tucked into a corner with her coffee, a croissant and her phone. And even if she was certainly thinking some dreadfully 'I'm not as young as I used to be'-tinged thoughts, she was still in a great mood. Last night had been fun.

Even if, yes, she was also discreetly pouring out some ibuprofen to go with her coffee and pastry this morning. Afternoon. (That was a bit of a tell, too, wasn't it?)

The Perk - Saturday Morning

Despite being out fairly late last night with the party, Liz decided to spend the morning having a coffee and had her notebook with her.

After Hellboy’s email the other day, it had given her inspiration for what photography project she was going to work on next so while she was having her coffee she was writing down some notes for it.
